I was already bored during a weirdly slow week at work, and then I accidentally typed a posting date as "10/10/8120" which for those keeping track is six thousand years in the future, and now I've screwed myself into a lot of time spent on hold to fix it.

Look, if you're gonna mess up, do it by a few millennia.

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.

Questions might include "Which of your characters are you the most like?", "Which BDE was your favorite?", "What music do you RP to?", etc.

And we havent done this since February. Ping, please! Help meeeeee.

There are like five female characters I want but I absolutely know I can't play them. I try too hard and PROJECT!!! FEMALE!!! and it gets cringey and awful and stereotype and makes me too sad so I wind up ghosting. This has happened every time I've tried, so I'm not doing it here.

The only one I think I could pull off would be Anne Bishop's Meg and I would need her Simon. On her own, she would do very badly, especially here.

I think Priestly wins on a technicality? But the one who was actually active the longest is probably Pinkie Pie.

I miss her sometimes. Nopony brought the happy crack quite as effectively as Pinkie.

Jaina started here at 16 and is now 38, with four major book series canon catchups and has kept relationships going through all that time, and is still getting growth after her canon was done.

Eliot! Before he had canonmates on the island, I was this close to dropping him and having Pinkie run the diner. Like, if there hadn't been a PW during which I randomly told Chris she should totally bring in Sophie and Parker for me, my involvement in the game today would have a very different shape.

I will never, ever not be proud of Kennedy's character arc while she was in Fandom and how I got to tie all of that into her canon catch-up afterward -- part of that is just an amazing bunch of lucky circumstances that made it awesome, in terms of the people she knew here and how amazingly that all tied into her development, but I'm still just really proud of how it all came together, and how much I was able to make of it.

Once upon a time (like, not that long ago actually, but pre-DW days at least), MP ran stats on the early days of the game and it turned out that Nadia had commented more than any other character in all three main game comms. By, like, fifty percent.

And like half of what she did makes me wince, so . . . yeah.

I'm about an even split, I think. I tend towards canons like Star Wars and Marvel that have more powers and enhanced skill sets in their characters as a general rule, but I've a decent number of normal characters that worked out fine.

I edit most of my posts to take out all the conjunctions I start my sentences with.

Kaidan. When I apped him, I had a plan for where the existing damage would take him. That's all been thrown out the window now. That whole "first contact with the enemy" battle plan thing. He wasn't supposed to form close attachments to anyone for a good long while.

It took him less than a week.

So now I get to burn through the steps he needs to take to get to where I thought he'd be sometime early next year. I had no good idea of how to get him there, but thankfully I have a friend who spits out terrible/good plot ideas and has one that makes sense and has a hope in hell of working.

So once upon a time in the game, soundtracks for characters were totally a Thing (we even had a random event based on it once). Do you still come up with theme songs for your characters/have songs you strongly associate with them? If so, what and for whom?

It's not a thing, but having Kaidan realize that he now thinks of Atton as a friend - knowing what Atton would likely think about his thinking that - is hilarious. Kanan's poor doorframe.

"He's an asshole, why, brain?!"

But, tbf, he's avoiding Anakin because he's self-aware enough to know that if he gave Anakin half a chance, he'd probably find a reason to think Anakin was a nice enough person - and he's happily avoiding thinking of him as anything but 'sleemo'.

I don't, but my bff has literally made playlists when she hears what new hell I'm putting Kaidan through. So far, none for Fenris.

Prompto, easily. He's just so fun and easy-going and ridiculous that, even though I don't get him out nearly as much as I'd like, he'd probably my easiest to write.

Followed, surprisingly, by Sidon lately, which is nice, because I'm so used to him giving me a load of trouble, but he's hit a great stride lately.

Bridge! I still miss him, sometimes, but MP and I were struggling to find things to do with him and Xander, so off into the sunset they went.

Ezra has been so close to the chopping block for so many times over the last couple of years. I think he's back on a roll now, though.
