meme: reverse questions with a twist!

I was already bored during a weirdly slow week at work, and then I accidentally typed a posting date as "10/10/8120" which for those keeping track is six thousand years in the future, and now I've screwed myself into a lot of time spent on hold to fix it.

Look, if you're gonna mess up, do it by a few millennia.

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.

Questions might include "Which of your characters are you the most like?", "Which BDE was your favorite?", "What music do you RP to?", etc.

Do you have any stories of when you realized your character had a thing for someone?

I might come back to this space with more detail later, but I feel like Boys in Bed Sharing Their Feelings (Quietly) And Having Epiphanies is basically the subgenre of romance in which my characters tend to live.

Though a recent fave is the scene where Dante dragged Anders out just to hang out, as a distraction, and wound up randomly protective of him to the point that Anders was like "...Do you have feelings?".

Dante: Nah, of course not, we're just chilling.
Dante's inner monologue, an hour later: ... fuck do I have feelings?

Shit, I was not intending the Sparkle flirtation to become a thing and it's now become a thing and it's so cute I can't stand it.

I distinctly remember during the Umbridge AU BDE, Kitty was running Caritas as a rebel speakeasy and in one post, Clint was flirting with Isabelle, and anytime I saw a ping come through I went "Man this would piss Kitty off- ohhhhhhh." And then every thread they had for the next month followed that.

And then there was Jaye and Alec, who were just hooking up casually and it wasn't until they were breaking up that I realized it was a breakup. That one still hurts me.

It's not a thing, but having Kaidan realize that he now thinks of Atton as a friend - knowing what Atton would likely think about his thinking that - is hilarious. Kanan's poor doorframe.

"He's an asshole, why, brain?!"

But, tbf, he's avoiding Anakin because he's self-aware enough to know that if he gave Anakin half a chance, he'd probably find a reason to think Anakin was a nice enough person - and he's happily avoiding thinking of him as anything but 'sleemo'.

It's hard for me to pinpoint specific scenes, but I never plan for relationships to happen, whether romantic or nonromantic, and it's often a pleasant surprise.

I loved how Leto's and Sparkle's first dates turned more serious than the light flirting I had expected. I tried to hold back there.

One of my favourite scenes with Lucille and Cassandra is when they were reading romantic poetry together. It was so obvious to me what Lucille felt then.

And I'm not really sure if Seivarden and Rosa have a thing, but Seivarden kept finding bad excuses to talk to her, which I hadn't expected.

Sidon was a goner for Vette the moment she smiled and said how much she liked stories. Because he's a big ball of schmoop.

Still not as bad as Prompto with Yang calling him "cowboy." At least that helped stave off him having a crush on any girl who SMILES at him, tho.

And then there's Rosa. Who only realized she had a thing for Seivarden because Seivarden was gone for a month and then Rosa thought, "Huh. Things suck even more around here than usual. I wonder why....oh. well, shit. That's dumb."
