Meme: Reverse Questions with a Twist

We're T-Minus 4 office days until I'm on vacation and my brain is already there so here's a meme. One we haven't done since January.

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.


Questions might include "Which of your characters are you the most like?", "Which BDE was your favorite?", "What music do you RP to?", etc.

Check in throughout the day to add questions/answer questions that have been added!

Do your characters interact, or do you like to have them avoid each other? How do you handle that?

100% avoid whenever possible. It's one thing to write my characters bouncing off of NPCs in prose form, trying to switch mental states from one ping to the next and back again is hell on my brain.

If I really can't get out of it, I stick to the minimum amount of pings required to get where I need to go and that's it.

No, they don't, though I have considered it at times when I'm bored. They really have no reason to interact.

I totally avoid actually having to thread with myself but I like when my characters don't particularly like each other. For example, Diego hates Wanda. Obvious reasons.

I avoid it, but I also like making up reasons why they don't like each other so the problem takes care of itself (read: Annie is very intimidated by Irene.)

I hate talking to myself so I try to avoid long exchanges with these two whenever possible. My favorite way to handle it is exposition via another character. "Marc and I had a chat about this last night and he said..." sort of a thing.

My dumb ass apped brothers who are canonically close, so I sometimes have no choice. Happily half the time I can get away with Gray being unconscious.

They avoid each other as much as possible.

It's fun to have Jon have a *reason* to avoid Hannibal, and Hannibal is amused by it, but otherwise they just all seem to miss each other somehow.

For the most part my characters don't know about each other or the hate each other. I've had to make a couple exceptions for Jaina and Rey because they're sort of counterparts and I can't not, but I try to handwave all of that when possible.

Look, at least right now, I actually don't have any characters who are actively sleeping with each other, which is a big change for me!

These assholes all exist in a sitcom world in my head at all times, I couldn't keep them apart if I tried, nor would I want to, and also, they make for EXCEPTIONALLY convenient NPCs for each other whenever needed!

But Lili gets it. Like one day she's going to discover thirst traps and ALT text just really is not the same.

My characters tend to exist in very separate spheres on the island, but I actually enjoy NPCing for myself so if they had reasons to interact I think it would be kind of fun.

There isn't really reason for mine to interact so they just...don't. Not for any IC reason they just sort of miss each other because it's easier that way.
