Hello. A quick OOC kind of announcement. I've been working my tail off this morning pulling things together for [livejournal.com profile] fandomtownies to get us back on track.

I've made a couple of Admin Announcements on the [livejournal.com profile] fandomtownies board but I want to make sure that everyone considered a 'townie' (students and faculty that live in town, regular residents and business owners) catches these few things I need them to do, so you're getting hit with my 'point-em-at-em' entry here in [livejournal.com profile] fandomhigh_ooc.

Things I'd like to tidy up and make the links clear for all players, since all players need to be aware of some of the changes made to [livejournal.com profile] fandomtownies.

I posted a Moderator Announcement. I would ask ALL players wishing it to interact in town, please read this one.

There is an announcement for current residents and business owners. I got stuff I need you to do!

I created a more thorough application. Applications are reviewed every Sunday.

I'm slowly working on updating the Townie Directory and Residence Listing. Help me with any errors you see and corrections that are needed?

And I updated the [livejournal.com profile] fandomtownies bio page.

Thank you for your attention. I'll stop spamming the lists now. *grin*

Due to the fact that I'm still working on the schedule for the Creative Writing Class, and that I've only just returned from a long trip and haven't really gotten all my ducks in a row for the Introduction to Western Literature class, the first sessions for these classes will not be meeting until next week. (Also, I'm hoping to get a few more people to sign up for the Lit class.)

Based on some concerns received over this weekend's detention session, the new detention rules (also here) are as follows:
From the pages of the Student Handbook )

Additionally, with the influx of cars, we want to remind everyone that we are on a very small island with very tight roads, the kind you'd drive a Vespa down while saying "Ciao!" Parking is likely limited, if it exists at all. Vehicle travel would most likely be conducted on the aforementioned Vespa or a bicycle. There's not a lot of island to drive on, in point of fact.

To reflect this, IC administration will be implementing a no-motor vehicles policy for students. Certain types of low-speed motorized transport (Vespas, mopeds, Segways) will be allowed. I understand that certain students already have cars. Find storage for them or have them picked up. There's no place to drive them, anyway.

Okay, please please please take a look at this and let me know if your character(s) aren't on it or in the wrong place. Or I'll hunt you down and kill you where you stand. Or sit. Whatever.
