Hey guys. Susan's schedule is starting to fill up; she's got two regular patients now. I figure that I can handle maybe eight to ten total, if it's not for a short-term thing. (For short-term stuff, I can probably handle four people, if they only want a couple weeks of talking.) She'll always be available for one-day crises, or an emergency talking-down or student Finals freak-out.

But if you want to have a ongoing therapy storyline with her participation, please contact her helpline and tell me when you want to start, so I can work out the RL and RP scheduling for it. Real therapists are not constrained by having school and time commitments, so I have to limit the patients she'll take.

That said, is there any interest in Group? For people who are having particular issues, such as Time Displacement, or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? Susan *could* moderate maybe one or two groups, although I'd cut down on her practice if she was going to host that. This could either be wacky or dramatic, depending on who would sign up.

ETA: And in case you didn't guess-- students get priority. I know some of you are joking in the threads below, but I thought I ought to clear that up. No other teacher types accepted until all students are helped and scheduled.

OOC Townies: directory forms

My first decision as admin is to bug you all and put you to work. I'm sure you're all happy to hear that. To bring some more order to the townie community, I'll be setting up a townie directory which is nothing more than a shameless rip off of what has been done for the students. I'm hoping this will give players and myself a better insight into what the town has to offer and who is living here.

So townies who own a business will have to actually send me two forms (ETA: one email will do fine, thanks for pointing that out, Sam). This really shouldn't take too long. Just keep in mind that these forms are considered to be IC. They'll go in an official directory that is accessible to the public.

The deadline to get these in is Monday February 6 and all forms should be emailed to usurpertex@fandomhigh.net. This gives everyone exactly two weeks to get things done. Which should be plenty of time. If I don't get in a form of you by that time, I will assume that you're no longer interested in playing the game and your membership of the community will be pulled.

I'd also like to remind new (and old) players to please make sure that the information on your bio page is consistent with what has been asked to be included upon your initial application.

OOC: Fandom town is lawless

Yes, you read that right. The mayor just skipped town, the head of police is gone and no one is keeping an eye out. What does that mean? Anything goes. This is time for you to run a little wild. There is literally no law and there won't be a law until someone (I so wonder who) will step up and take control.

Want to beat someone up just because you feel like it? Go for it.

Only not. Please, use your common sense. The general rules about violence still apply. Don't start a serious fight unless the other player approves. Want to break something down in town? Check with me first before you cut off all the trees in the park.

You want to go crazy? You can, but when you cross a line and things get out of hand, there will be consequences later on. Order will be restored and ICA = IC Consequences. You really don't want to get on Tex' bad side once she grabs the throne.

That being said? You have a few days to have fun with this. Enjoy and let anarchy rule.

ETA: Please keep in mind that the usual safeties that are drawn up in establishments are still there. For example, Caritas still has has its Sanctuary spell up. Check with the players first before you go and try to cause mischief in their stores.

OOC: Clark going home for a bit

Okay, I suck *really bad* for this but I have to do it or go insane. Classes and general RL are taking a lot more of my attention than I thought they would (go figure!) and I don't have the time to play with poor Clark as much as I'd like to. I *would* like to keep him though, so rather than withdraw him I'm just sending him back to Smallville for a while -- a few weeks, probably.

I hope this is okay.

Sunshine is Dru's pet giant plot device squid. She used to live in the Fandom High swimming pool. Now she lives in the duck pond. This shouldn't deter anyone from taking their characters to the park or the duck pond! She's actually fairly harmless, and is mostly there for flavor. And she's developed a taste for zombie after Zombie Weekend.

Sunshine will not bother anyone unless she is specifically invited to do so. Just wanted to get that out there for everyone. :) Yay, consensual RP! Just ping me if you ever want to play with my little pet.
