Detention Lottery for June 3

This Saturday, Artie - the strongest man in the world - will be holding detention. This Saturday, you - whomever volunteers - will get detention with Artie. Just sign up in the appropriate thread and I'll pick a name from those volunteers that will be announced tomorrow morning.

Additionally, if anyone who has been performing pranks would like to sign up to get detention because they were caught by, say, the school's omnipresent security cameras in public areas, please sign up in that thread. Any accomplices who do not sign up will be stated to have been too blurry or otherwise handwavily unidentifiable.

And in a mild policy switch, starting this week detention lists and sign ups to run future detentions will occur in fh_office.

IG Summer Newsletter

First off, this was not my idea. The fabulous peter__parker was going to head this up, but due to my being a power-hungry wench, I've taken hold of it. Today, the summer newsletter, tomorrow, the WORLD. Mwahaha.

...or possibly I have time and he doesn't. Whatever.

Basically, the thought is that over the summer, rather than the Fandom Hightimes, we'd have a bi-weekly newsletter featuring interviews, movie reviews, the Shipping News (since I already got confirmation from you guys) and at least one regular column. Since it's just a newsletter, though, we'll be keeping it fairly light.

At the moment, I have a list of everyone who said that they'd be interested in helping out with this. BUT, because I am OCD like an OCD thing, would you please comment to this entry if you're interested, regardless of whether you've been contacted OOC already or not? It's just nice to have everything in one spot. Bear in mind, however, that since we're keeping it light, spots are kind of limited and/or not everyone will get to write in every issue.

Details will be hammered out over in the newspaper comm once I know who's interested.
