Fall 2006 Townie Applications
Friday, November 3rd, 2006 01:40 pmIt's that time of the year again. Welcome to the Fall 2006 Townie Applications.
All applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a decent grasp of the English language. This game is based heavily on interaction, characterization and communication. One-upmanship and abuse of other players will not be tolerated. New Players and current players will be allowed one character. However, we still reserve the right to reject any application.
Because Fandom is a small island where a limited amount of people can live, we try not to double up any businesses. Please, try to keep this in mind while applying. While any and all kinds of businesses are allowed in the game, your application will be easier accepted if you manage to offer something unique. Take your time to check out our directory to see if you can come up with something. I would like to state that a PC business goes above an NPC one any day. If there is an NPC business that you would be interested in taking over or replacing, that is allowed as well. If you’re not up to opening a business, it’s acceptable to try and find a job in the already existing businesses in the game. Either way, when you apply you must have your eye on some means to support your character.
According to my sources, there might be some room to implement a new doctor character. If you have your heart set on this, feel free to check out
fandom_clinic and see if your character can offer something new to the game.
You cannot apply with a character that is already in the game or has just graduated. A full list of current characters can be found here.
This game has a lot of activity. You will be expected to keep up. If you do not, you will be removed and we probably won't let you play again.
By applying, you acknowledge that you have read the handbook at fandomhigh.net and the townie guide and that you accept the terms stated within.
Townie Application Form
When you fill this out, please keep the following in mind; while the administration may or may not know your fandom, it is important that you show us that you do know it. Assume that you are explaining your character to someone who has never heard of the fandom before. Show us that you have a firm grasp of what your character is like, how you want to try to fit him/her/it into Fandom and what problems (if any) you foresee and how you will try to bypass those.
The deadline for applications is November 17. If you have any questions, please contact the administrators at administration@fandomhigh.net. Please label your email with the topic of your inquiry so that we can identify it.
