Clubs reminder

All clubs need to be registered tonight by oh, say 9 pm EST. That's when I'm going to plan to have the schedule up and start putting up the club fair post of doom. So far the registered clubs are:

Fencing Club
The Fandom Hightimes
Young Entrepenuers
Chess Club
Cheerleading
Dueling Club
Self-Defense Club
Role Playing Club
Alpha Beta Gremlin
Dance Club
Gun Club

If your club is not up here, I haven't received a form for it. Seriously, I need the form, it's where I get all the info for the post and schedule. You can find the form and other info here.

As for the post tonight, it will be set after classes in the gym on Monday. Each club will get a table where the club leader can interact and recruit, and there will be an OOC thread for each club that you use to sign up. (Cheerleading won't get a sign up thread since I already have a roster, but if you guys want I'm willing to give you a table.) You can play stuff out or not as much as you want. There will also be OOC threads for if you have a job or are a TA, library aide, etc. If you/your character won't be around to sign up, you can sign up in the OOC threads until Monday, February 12 and just handwave the IC signup. After Feb. 12, I start asking "Hey, where's your job/club/etc.?" and I hate that part. If you feel the need to join something later in the year, just ping me or E-mail me and I'll add you.

Spotlight on Fandoms: Battlestar Galactica (New Series)

Er. Just to clarify right off. It is a "reimagination" of the original, you see.

So anyway, myself, dbiers, hera_rises, and sogothcally make up Fandom's current contingent from BSG, all of the above characters being from the new series, as adapted from Glen A. Larson's original concept by Ronald D. Moore, formerly of Star Trek TNG, DS9, and Voyager, as well as Roswell and Carnivale. The funky bit? Out of all the above characters, Laura Roslin is the only regular. We loves us our minor and recurring characters here. Not being familiar enough with the original series, which isn't represented here at the moment anyhow, I'm only focusing on the new one.

BSG? Gimme gimme!

The second half of season 3 is currently running on the Sci-Fi Channel, in the WTFWHYDIDYOUMOVEITHERE time slot of Sunday night at 10 PM. It used to be on Fridays at 10. We liked it much better then. *grumps*

Aaaaaaaaand that's all from me. We, uh, sort of didn't get around to coordinating a group-written post in time, so I am actually putting up OCD in this post so that my fellow BSG players can chime in when they can.

Hi, I'm losing the ability to type.

Rudimentary club schedule here. Everything is broken up into 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00 hours after classes, except Gun Club, and Student Council.

Not on the schedule yet are Alpha Beta Gremlin, Kappa Kappa Gremlin and Self-Defense Club, as the times and dates were TBA. Please look at the schedule and see what's free that you might want, or I'll randomly assign it and hope you're okay with that. (Friday tends to stay open due to assemblies, but that can be worked around.)
