Parents Weekend and You

Hi guys!

Once a year, we hold a weekend where parents, guardians, siblings, friends and other assorted guest stars can come to Fandom for the weekend, get to know where the kids are living and going to school and all that jazz. This year, as a change of pace, we're also opening the weekend up to guest stars for teacher and townie characters.

How This Works:
On Friday evening (October 19), an OOC note will go up saying that guest stars can come in. They can then start arriving in town, checking in and mingling. On Saturday and Sunday, the school will be open, teachers will be available for parent-teacher conferences and there will be several events in which everyone can socialize. The guest stars will then leave on Sunday night and things in Fandom will go back to normal. Well, as normal as things get around here.

Who Can Come and Who Can Play Them?
Parents, guardians, siblings, friends, enemies, evil twins, etc. If your character has someone to come and visit them, they may very well be eligible! The way this works is that you decide which character(s) you want to come (keep it to a maximum of 3, but if you have a pressing need for more for some reason, please contact us), find someone to play them and then submit the character and player details below. This is the only time we allow non-players to participate in a game event. It's the perfect opportunity to get your non-FH friends sucked in by getting them to participate in a one weekend event with no on-going commitment. You're also welcome to get fellow players to play guest stars for you if they have the time. If you can't find someone, there will shortly be a post going up where you can request a volunteer to help you out. Please use the upcoming post for your recruiting instead of doing it in your own journal to save your friends list from being spammed.

What Now?
Pick your guest star character(s), find a player for them, fill out the form below. A notice will then go up closer to the date with more information on when you can bring the guest stars in and when their journal will be given commenting access.
