Friday of PLAAAAAAAAAAGUE Week

Today, as you know, is the last day of the BDE. While those stricken down and those working tirelessly to keep them alive are still in the hospilinic, the researchers are on a path to the cure for the disease.
That being said, they're not there yet so for much of the day, the pla(aaaaa)gue will continue to strike more down and make others sicker, and the island will still be cut off.
The cure should be finished by late afternoon/early evening Fandom time, and it will be administered during the evening clinic post. The sick will receive the cure first, of course, and their symptoms will clear up surprisingly quickly and depending on the severity of their case can either spend another night in the Town Hall or go home with strict orders to hydrate, rest, and recuperate.
Now by this point, everyone on the island has been exposed to the disease, so once the cure is known, there will be a radio announcement ordering everyone to the clinic to get their cure.
By the time enough people have been cured, the magical barrier around the island will fall. (And an OOC post will go up when that happens)
On Saturday, there'll be a service - partially memorial, partially celebration of everyone coming together, partially an explanation of what the researchers discovered - for everyone on the island to attend. Some characters have been asked to speak, but there will also be a place for anyone who would like to say a few words. There's no need to sign up, just ping into the appropriate thread tomorrow.
