Earworms ahoy!

vkandis-son.livejournal.comDon't you hate it when you get a song stuck in your head? Especially if you don't know where it came from and you just can't get rid of it, no matter what you do?
Earworms. Bane of sanity everywhere. And Wednesday they're coming to Fandom!
Yes, that's right. Tomorrow Fandom will be invaded by earworms - invisible and intangible, of course - who will infect the island with songs. The most annoying, catchy, can't get them out of your head songs, causing people to hum them or sing them out loud at random intervals (infection is voluntary, of course, and your character doesn't need to have ever heard the song, or even know what it is. Such is the magic of the earworm).
They're also highly contagious, so if your character hears someone singing a song, they might just pick it up, and - through the magic of the earworm - know all the words just so they can get the full earworm experience!
The earworms will arrive at Tuesday midnight and move on to greener pastures at Wednesday midnight. So, for twenty four hours, pull out your most earwormy tunes and toss them into the game!
