The island, located as it currently is amongst the Greek isles, has been invaded.

By tortoises.

Tiny tortoises, no bigger than your hand, hundreds of them, and they are swarming all over the island, inside and out! Well, as much as a tortoise can swarm.

But these tortoises are no ordinary tortoises, oh no -- if you feed them a treat, they will respond by spouting a bit of nonsensical philosophical gibberish.
