Hey everyone! Just in case you missed it in the middle of winding down from the BDE, applications for the fall semester are now open. So dust off those potential journals, dig out those half-completed applications and feel free to pimp us out. (Not dirty!)

Random Event, and So Many Thanks!

Because we you need something that doesn't break your brains this week:

On Tuesday, at your choice of place and time,
Your characters will speak in random rhyme!

If you want them to. When you want them to. For short stretches of time, not 24/7.

*Waits for all the fh_fic of it happening among the AU survivors to appear*

And while we're on the subject of that...

We just wanted to say thank you all for taking this BDE and running with it. You made it bigger and more entertaining than we could have ever imagined, and we can only hope you've had as much fun with it as we have.

Special thanks go out to notstakedyet for allowing us to Joss his username and cause the split that created the whole big damn thing, to our NPC volunteers, and to the Magic, Research and Strike teams who worked together to open the show, move it along, and end it with a bang!

Classes for Fall Semester!

Oh, that joyful time where teacher players rack their brains to find new ways of entertaining the kids! If you're intending on teaching a class for Fall Semester, please read on. If not, take a siesta. You've earned it.

Do you Need This Form?

• If you are a current teacher (even one with a job over the Summer), just read the rest and fill out the form below.
  
• If you are a current teacher wanting to move to townie status (not teach anymore), please email us and let us know and we'll go from there.
  
• If you are a current townie wanting to become a full-time teacher, please email us and let us know and we'll go from there.
  
• If you are lost and hoping to be taken in by people who will appreciate wide, brown eyes, please email us and let us know and we'll go from there.
  
• New teacher characters should fill out the regular application form and ignore this post entirely.

What's Needed for a Class:

• The ability to come up with 15 weeks worth of classes (14 + exam week with a 1 week break in the middle)
  
• The ability to post the workshop by 12pm PST the day it's scheduled (you can post the night before)
  
• The ability to interact with your students (slow play is fine, you don't need to be around all the time)

Remember, not hearing from us right away is good, but we will email current/returning teachers to let them know their class works for us around at the same time as we send out final decisions on character apps.

Your teacher character's form will need to be in these comments by Friday, August 21, 2009 for great scheduling justice.
