Sine it worked out quite well last year, we're going to try the same method of choosing a valedictorian (and possibly a salutatorian as well): we're asking interested seniors to submit a brief in-character essay (up to 3 paragraphs) on why they should be considered for the job.
Keep in mind that the valedictorian will be expected to make a speech at graduation. All essays need to be submitted as a screened comment here by next Wednesday, April 28th, so that there'll be plenty of time for figuring things out before graduation. If you have any questions, leave them here as well, and they'll be unscreened!
