Greasemonkey To the Rescue!

If you're like me, you saw the INSANELY STUPID changes LJ made last night in giving us an option of reposting our comments or entries to Facebook or Twitter (because what I REALLY want is to accidentally post a snippet of some sexy tiems to FB) via little tiny boxes attached to the text box.

Courtesy of a helpful person, this Greasemonkey script will kill those boxes when posting comments. It won't take away the option when making an entry but the options for entries are a lot less intrusive than comment posting.

Hopefully LJ gets a lot of DESERVED flack over this and either removes the crap or gives an opt out feature but, for now, this works!

Birthday List - September + Master List

It's a new school year, which means it's time for a repost of the birthday master list. This gets posted on the first of every month, give or take, and the master list is reposted at the start of each semester. Listed birthdays may be based on canon, actor birthdates, astrology, throwing darts at the calendar, and anything else that works OOC and IC. This isn't written in stone -- if you need to change a birthday for whatever reason, be it Jossing or IG plot demands, it can be changed on the list.

The list is of character birthdays, but it's for OOC knowledge; birthdays aren't announced within the game without player permission.
