Mother of god I have no life. Here. Quick links. Anyone with other vitals for everyone would do fairly well to leave a link in the comments so I can add on if needed. I don't have dorm listings or most student roster up because most of them are sadly out of date. I'd be expecting some sort of huge coding nightmare from me nearly every weekend now because... I'm an idiot with no life and do coding when insomnia hits me.

New Library Rules

The following new library rules have been approved by Spider Jerusalem and Dean Bristow. These rules are not retroactive. Anything done prior to this posting is grandfathered in.

The Rules )

1) If you've requested an e-mail address and I haven't gotten back to you, poke me here.

2) The School Directory is woefully outdated. If you're not in there and you should be, let me know. If there's someone who's in there and they should not be, let me know.

3) I'm very disorganized right now, which is IC but not fun. If you've volunteered to do a section of the website, sound off here with which section that is and if I've given you the go-ahead to work on it. I know there's at least one area where I've had multiple requests and assigned no-one.

4) Despite my previous freak-out, it's perfectly acceptable to link to the website from your userinfo, since your userinfo makes it perfectly clear that you are a character in an RP. Liability in that scenario is minimal. Thanks to the few kind offers to move the site, but the flipside of the coin is that I have to maintain this account for work purposes.

Professor, Duce needs a few moments of you/your butterfly's time either today (if you have office hours) or tomorrow morning. Wasn't sure if you're even icly around this week, but Duce would go looking.

Okay - so Veronica has been approved to write a series of articles for The Fandom High Times to educate students about their non-human classmates/teachers.

I need to know which characters are non-humans (and what they are), who is "out" and who is willing to be interviewed IC about Veronica. We'll also need to plan an IC way of Veronica finding out about your character's status and setting up the interview.

Just checking before my character does anything stupid and screws over her reason for doing said stupid thing:

Will detention be run over Parents' Weekend? And if so, will it be possible to get a by on it until the next week if you have someone coming?

E-mail Note

The Student Directory is not reflective of the existence of actual e-mail addresses. Please check the specific users userinfo. I will be changing this in the future, but for the moment, the Student Directory is not a good place to check for e-mail addresses for characters.

Furthermore, if you have fandomhigh.com e-mail address in your userinfo, and that e-mail addy hasn't been confirmed yet, stop using it. Mail sent there will not magically reach its destination by force of will, and there will be a lot of players who will want to know why you didn't get their communication.

For the record, the following e-mail addresses do not exist:

lana.lang
julian.sark

Also, I have murphy.macmanus misspelled. I'll fix that now.

[Mun is bitten by Plot Bunny. Mun is now giving an Oscar acceptance speech.]

Wow, I really didn't think we were going to win! Well, I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who helped make this field trip a success. [livejournal.com profile] sydney_bristow_, for kicking this whole thing off with the Plot Dolphin. [livejournal.com profile] oatmanspatient, for organizing so much of it, especially to get the big ball of fun rolling. [livejournal.com profile] prof_cregg, for jumping into it so enthusiastically. [livejournal.com profile] can_be_more for the brilliant last minute Bunnies. Everybody who participated? A lot of people are dead thanks to you! Rock on! All the people who watched and commented? Most of you are dead! Please don't come back as a zombie! Just come back as yourself! [livejournal.com profile] shane_mcc, thank you for the icons that ruled, as they always do!

And of course, a HUGE thanks to [livejournal.com profile] fh_anonymous. Idea generation, picture editing, organization, and just overall making it work. You were the glue that held this whole thing together. As important as it was to have everyone playing along willing to throw themselves into the insanity, you were the insanity that everyone threw themselves into. You rule, dude!

Oh, and thanks to God and my parents!

I hope we get the chance to do all of this again in the relatively near future, especially since next time we'll have a better idea of what we're doing! *pauses for laughter, 3...2...1...* Thank you, everyone!

[Thanks from [livejournal.com profile] fh_anonymous: Everybody on the planning committee, Bristow and Spider for letting this happen, Shane (shane_mcc) for being my anonymous plot bunny and emergency icon maker, Aeryn for last minute ideas and, of course, everybody who played because I've been laughing since we started on Friday.]

The muns have decided it might be a good idea to post a brief explanation of what the FH community as a whole can expect from interaction with Aziraphale and Crowley. For those of you not familiar with the Good Omens fandom, Aziraphale is an angel and Crowley is a demon. They hold relatively minor status, though, and are not particularly powerful. Certainly they have very little sway over the plans made on either side.

They've also been friends for a good long time, and having spent nearly all of Time living in the human world, they've become very fond of it. Their purposes are to tempt and thwart, providing the choices of Good or Evil that give humans their Free Will. In reality, neither much cares for making a show of it. They prefer to work their influence in the smallest ways possible, get it over with, and then go out for a nice pint. Because of their unique friendship, they have reached an Arrangement, and are extremely loyal to one another.

So, the reason for posting this: Any players who interact with these two can expect that a) Aziraphale will try to do something to cheer them and b) Crowley will try to do something to upset them. Not big things. Just little things like offering tea or making fun of your hair. Happy people do nice things. Cranky people make other people cranky. This is how they operate. Please note: They have neither the power, nor the inclination, to affect major changes on the people or places around them. They will not play God with your stories, we promise.

A note about what they know: they don't read your minds. But they do know your deepest feelings. And they'll be aware of your virtues and flaws. They won't take advantage -- but they'll use the information in their quest to make you cheery/cranky.

So, if you do stop by or run into one of them, feel free to run with the idea that your day will be either a little better or a little worse, depending.
