Unfortunately, the school in RL has bested me, and will harbor no other mistress demands that I play no more. Sorry folks.

I thought about putting Mustang up for adoption, but I'd rather just eliminate the journal, so if someone new wanted to apply as the character they could do so without being constrained by how I played him. Can people do that? Or would it be better for me to put him up for adoption?

Anyway, this is official notice. If anyone is looking for victims in their plot, I can put myself in place to die mysteriously, if you'd like. missmonochrome, sorry to add another boy to your mysteriously disappearing list!

OOC: Master/slave Ethics Assignment Article - help and permissions

I've got IC interviews with Angelus and Tara. I've got Shep who has said he'll give a statement.

What I need, pretty please, is an OOC heads-up from you here if you'd be willing for your character to give a short statement, by e-mail, about the assignment and what you learned or didn't learn. This request is limited to those who actually did the assignment.

People I'd especially love to hear from if they're willing:

Kawalsky - because I've got Angelus.

Callisto and Logan - on the slave revolt.

Rory and Chiana - on how it works when someone really knows about slavery.

Buffy - about giving up the need to be the figure of destiny.

Bel and Phoebe - on M/s and a romantic relationship, how it changed the assignment.

Number Six - on dealing with Logan. ;)

Everyone else is entirely welcome, these are just people I know who had concrete issues that I'd like to touch on.

Please let me know ASAP so I can arrange an IC pick up of the information before tomorrow afternoon. The original request was sent out early in the week, so we can respond to that email and it shouldn't affect anyone's timeline for the weekend.

The Updated Official Comms List

The comms listed in that post as "in-play" are the only comms officially recognized by admin as being a part of the game. All other comms are unofficial OOC or meta-commentary and should not affect gameplay.

Layout for Sociology and Ethics students

Helllloooo students. drgrissom and brambless, for the purposes of the game, have decided that their classes occur in the same wing. It is on the first floor of the school complex.

If you are in any of their classes, or are interested in seeing where they occur, the layout post can be found here.

The layout details a bit about the facilities available to their students, and the students at large. Assume all classes occur in either the Ethics Classroom or the Sociology Lab unless the professor specifies otherwise, which may happen from time to time now that they have a spiffy wing all to themselves.

If you are a fellow teacher, and you'd like your class to be held in the same wing, drop me a line and I'll add you to the schedule. Specify the time of your class, and which room you'd like to use. As long as it is free, it shouldn't be a problem, I'll modify the post. You don't get your own office though in the wing, because I don't want to change the layout on the diagram itself (changing text is very easy to do). You can feel free to use/share Grissom's as he holds office hours in the dorms a lot of the time, or an open room, or do your own thing in that regard.

If you run a club, same rules apply. We'd love to have you.

I can't answer where it is exactly in relation to other sections of the school. I know there is a cafeteria, library, study hall, Science wing, Journalism department w/Spider's quarters, basement, etc. The stairs/elevator or the opening at the right of the diagram is where you enter the rest of the building.

Of course, there are bulletin boards for posting things and various posters and such forth lining the walls.

Surveillance clarification

I'd like some clarification on just what parts of the school are under surveillance. As I understood it, the classrooms, hallways, and common areas are all wired, but individual dorm rooms are not. Is this correct? And is the Ethics classroom bug-free, as specified by Tara?
