OOC: Lawless town coming to an end

Just to give everyone the heads up, tonight order will be restored in town. So if you want to do mischief, do it now before evening falls. I'm not saying that you can't go around and try to do something this evening. By all means, go ahead but expect to be rudely interrupted.

As of tomorrow, law will be back in town. I apologise if you missed out on this plot, but chaos is unpredictable like that.

While I'm here, I'd like to remind people that townie applications will be closing January 29 What?Shutupitalwayssaidthat. So get in those applications while you still can.

Heads up announcement about this weekend

Hey, all. So, I've been a slacker about announcing what my special duties as a mod are.

Uhhh, tada! I'm going to be the mod for all the big events (dances, field trips, etc.). *jazz hands*

So with that being said, I would like to give everyone a quick heads up for this weekend.

Something will be happening starting late Friday afternoon. It will affect the entire island. It will not be possible to ignore what is going on, but it will be possible to stay out of it.

It is an event in two parts. The first part will last through Sunday and will be pretty stress free for your characters. For the most part anyway. Think of it as a bonding experience.

The second, more... active part of the weekend will only be taking place on Saturday. It will be very easy to stay out of this if you decide you don't want to deal with it.

Everybody should be very careful with anything they pre-play for this weekend starting Friday.

I don't want to give too much away, but if you are concerned, please feel free to ask me for more info.

On names and doppelgangers

With similar names (Isabel vs. Isobel) and the same actress, there's definitely going to be the potential for confusion. Especially since we finally had a plot together.

Anyway, izziebelle and I were discussing the best way for everyone to keep us straight in an OOC (and somewhat IC) manner.

IC, I've only been using the name Isabel and she's only been using Izzie.

If there's anyway, particularly with the radio, that you could make sure to use the same names, we'd really appreciate it.
