We've got a few things to announce!

Firstly, the first floor dorm renovations are now complete. Feel free to use the new facilities starting now. :)

Secondly, we'll be having some fun with the free time on Friday afternoons. Starting this week - then continuing biweekly - there will be staff meetings held in the [livejournal.com profile] fandom_lounge community. It'll be a post put up by one of the IC admins where teachers will be expected to show up, talk about work, students, upcoming events, and any problems with their jobs. There will be punch and pie. Hopefully neither punches nor pies will be thrown.

Every other week, the administration will be holding school assemblies. These will take place in the school auditorium and feature whatever kind of insanity we can come up with. Some weeks we'll have the opportunity for people to app a guest character, some weeks we'll have guests prearranged among the admin team, some weeks there will be no guests at all, and some weeks we'll do something a bit more... festive. Think the Friday Events from this summer adapted for the stage. Next week's theme? Motivational speakers.

We'll let you know stuff that you need to know for any of these events ahead of time.

Thank you for your time!

I'm about to start putting up tThe club fair of doom is up, but while I do that so, a handy dandy schedule of when things are:

cut, la )

The #1 question I will be asked: If you miss the club fair IC or OOC, it's okay. I know some people are gone right now, so you're not going to miss out on signing up for stuff because RL interfered. If you're not around, you can't play in the fair, of course, but you can definitely still sign up for clubs. (If you're character's gone and you're wondering how to ICly explain that you signed up? Handwave. It's not that important a detail.)

Again, TA's, library aides and student council all count as extracurriculars, while the band and clinic aides count as jobs. (There will also be a handy dandy thread for you to ping in with your job.)

If you're running for student council and don't know whether you're in and if that means you need a club? I'm keeping this post open for signup pings till Sunday, September 24. That should give you enough time to see whether you need something. Anytime after that, just ping me on AIM and we'll work it out.

Anything I forgot, any corrections, any TBA's that need to be changed, ping me here. *goes to put up post now*

ETA: Club heads will be able to answer any questions ICly at the tables.
Cheerleading will not be on there as that's a tryout thing.
