Hiya Fandom! Forgive me for rambling. I’m spotlighting Ranma ½ today!

What is Ranma ½?

Ranma ½ is a Japanese comic (manga) that’s reallllly long. Then it became an anime that was also reallllly long. I personally enjoy reading it rather than watching it, this holds true for… pretty much everything (like book-based movies!)

The most important thing to know about Ranma ½ is that it’s a comedy. It’s safe to say it’s a very situational comedy, based on knowing the characters and then throwing in gimmicks. That’s what Ranma ½ is about for... I’d say 34 of the 36 volumes of the manga. The anime however is entirely that way.

It’s not extremely plot driven, once you know the characters, you can watch/read a random episode and it will make sense. For the most part…

I so posted this in the right place the first time *headdesk*

Neverwhere was a 1996* BBC mini-series written by Neil Gaiman and Lenny Henry. Then Gaiman wrote a novel retelling almost word for word based on the mini-series. Later, DC Vertigo published a 9-issue comic adaptation of the novel. (Which I confess to not yet having read, as I'm not that much of a completist until the trade paperback comes out).

So who's in this thing, and Expandwhat's it about? )
