December 2007 Open Forum Round Up

This is a wee bit late but the holidays and NEW PEOPLE pushed our schedule around a bit.

Pick Yer Offices!

Hi teachers!

For anyone who didn't know, you can find a campus map (with more detailed floor plans of the dorms and main school building) via the "Maps" link on fandomhigh's user info page. It's an image map, so just click where you want to look to get the more detailed floor plans.

The teachers' offices are on the second floor of the school building. You can see that layout here. So new teachers, come and check out the floor plan, see which offices are free (the guys from last semester get to keep theirs if they want to) and comment below with what office number you want. I'll then add it to the list.

If someone has commented with the number you want before you got to it and you really want it, talk to them about it then let me know what the two of you decide. All new teachers should pick an office number for the sake of OCD continuity.

The Fandom High Office

Last bastion of sanity and peace in a crazy wor.... Wait, who am I kidding.

Sane is definitely not a word to describe the office. Useful, however, is, as is often-contains-puns. Be warned.

Monday to Friday, a Fandom High Office post will be put up. It contains three main threads:
1) Detention - where teachers can drop the names of students who've received detention.
2) Residential Issues - where, if you want to change rooms, you can fill out the form requesting it. The office staff are easily distracted by shiny things, though, so it usually takes about a week.
3) Other Issues - where, funnily enough, other issues go. Weekend pass permission, primarily, but if you need something else from the office, put it there.

And that's about it. Asketh thine questions, and they shall be answered. But probably not until morning.

Fandom Spotlight for Sunday, January 13
