Hi all!

A couple of important dates are coming up. We have return to the dorms, and we have the last day that those who won't be with us next semester can be on the island.

Return to the dorms: Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! For one day only, the 24th of August, we have return to the dorms!


Last day to be on the island: Alumni, teachers who are leaving us, and students who won't be returning next semester need to be off the island by Thursday, 28 August. Which is also the Day of the Flavouring, so there will be one last touch of weirdness before they leave.

(Also, you have about nine-ish hours before apps close - midnight PST - there's still time!)

Stepping down

Now that we’re in the lull between apps closing and new students arriving, I just want to take a minute to make a small announcement. At the beginning of the new semester I’ll be stepping down as an admin. (Not before! There’s too much delicious, delicious OCD to enjoy between now and then.)

I’ve loved almost every minute of being an admin, and being able to give something back to the game that ate my life has given me so much fun has been wonderful.

Thank you to everyone for making it such a blast, both as an admin and as a player. I’m not going anywhere, I love the game way too much, but this means you should all have fewer puns inflicted upon you in the future.
