Christmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas! You know what that means! Secret Santa!

Anyway. The past couple years, we've done an OOC Secret Santa gift exchange, and we'll be doing one this year as well. The way this works is that you sign up in this post by Friday, December 12. By doing so, you will be assigned a Secret Santa to make you a gift, and you'll also be responsible for a gift for someone. Emails will go out that night telling you who your RNG-assigned Secret Santa is.

You will have until December 23 to make them gifts, and here's the catch -- you can't buy anything for them, with the exception of paid LJ time, or extra userpics, that sort of thing.

When you sign up, please include a list of things you'd like, as a note to your Secret Santa. Example:

Hi, Secret Santa!

Merry Christmas! I'd love it if you could get me some more icons for Harvey (yourwhiteknight) because the world could always use more Aaron Eckhart. I always love new layouts, and icons, and other LJ goodies. Fic is good - my fandoms are [insert fandoms here], and I looooove new music, if you feel like uploading. And anything else you can think of!

Links to these comments will be provided in the emails sent out this weekend, so that you'll be able to get right to work on your gifts.

You can make as many or as few things for your Secret Santa as is convenient for you, and the notes are, naturally, just guidelines -- you don't have to follow their wishlist to the letter! It's just to give you an idea. Please do remember that you signed up and are responsible for a gift for them, though.

On December 23, we'll do our reveal post, where you can give and receive your gifties!

If you are NEW to the friending list, GO HERE and follow the instructions. (Updated!)

If you have already used the friending list, then here are short updates to remove dead/inactive ljs from your friend list and add new people easily.

Copy each list into the Admin Console, then press the "Execute" button. Please keep in mind that there are characters moving from one filter to another in this update and defriending/friending should be done in the order presented to facilitate this.

If there is a name on either list that should not be there, please let me know. Ditto for any name that should be on there, but isn't. Name additions and removals will be done on the next update.
