Leaving Characters

This is what's called 'Having No Clue'. It's a common state for me.

I know that a number of people are leaving FH for greener pastures fandom_tropolis, I just don't know who is.

Do we yet have a list of departing characters? Townies and students?

In the midst of a flurry of comings and goings, let us pause in this festive season to remember all the good crack that we've smoked these past four months and indulge in a little game of 'You know you've been at Fandom High too long when . . .'

I'll start.

. . . one of the first things your mother says to you after not seeing you for four months is, "Um, why are you getting mail from someone called 'Aziraphale'?"

. . . while giving a tour of campus to a prospective student, the following comes out of your mouth: "This is Liquor Lane, which is actually the best lit part of Fandom." "Excuse me?" "Campus. I meant campus."

. . . the words 'frell' and 'frak' enter your vocabulary, despite having no exposure to said fandom.

. . . you can't help giggling your way through 'Revenge of the Sith' because your mind keeps hearing banthabells.

. . . the words, 'Can't sleep, Fandom High will eat me' have left your mouth.

. . . you start watching 'Power Rangers: SPD' just because of Bridge.

. . . whenever an actor (say, for example, Steve Bacic) is in a show, you involuntarily think, "Squee, that's me!"

Overdue Library Books

Does anybody have any overdue library books?

The library staff would have records and know. We're assuming you've turned them all in unless you've specifically said you're not. Or if you're an evil half-demon destined to becomethe Source of All Evil someday Belthazor.

Basically, if you'd like the library staff to come after you to get your overdue books, and everyone can have a good time with it, please comment here. Otherwise, all library books are in as of tonight at library close.

Except stuff Belthazor checked out, of course. We've arranged some evil fun with him.

Adoptions. Open Again With a New System

Adoptions are again open for business.

However, I have only been handed 4 accounts for adoption, and none of these are going to actually be adopted, due to simple inactivity of the characters in general, or the overpopulation of certain fandoms, and therefore we are "thinning the herd" to try and help promote diversity.

I do know, however, that there are a few characters who are supposedly up for adoption, or were illegally adopted during the freeze. If you could send me the account names and passwords for said accounts, We can go about putting said characters up for adoption with the proper application process ASAP.

Please remember that turning a character over for adoption is a complete and utter break from the character. You are surrending all claim to the character, though we will direct the adopter to you for some information about the character's past exploits in the FH-verse, so they may have some more of an idea of what they are getting into.
